Ron Dennis also denied rumours of a rift with the ousted Martin Whitmarsh Sutton Images Enlarge Ron Dennis is convinced he can bring McLaren back to winning ways this season after returning to the team in January in the wake of a podium-less 2013 campaign. Dennis installed himself as CEO of the McLaren Group, taking responsibility of the Formula One team for the first time since 2009. He returns looking to pick up the pieces after the team's worst season since 1980, and amidst the sweeping regulation changes, but Dennis is adamant he can lead McLaren back to their old winning ways.
