Exhaust issues disrupt progressive day for Red Bull
Exhaust problems in the afternoon put paid to what had been an encouraging start to the final test in Bahrain for Daniel Ricciardo and Red Bull Racing. Red Bull has been plagued by reliability issues throughout the course of pre-season testing, and these issues struck once again on Thursday afternoon, with an exhaust failure curtailing Daniel Ricciardo’s running after just 25 laps,
While the Australian managed to add seven laps onto the board with a late foray in the closing stages of the session, it was a disappointing end to the day after what had been a progressive morning for the team.
