Domenicali: Ferrari F14 T matched expectations
– Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali has said the performance of the Scuderia’s new 2014 F1 car, the F14 T, matched expectations last week during the opening pre-season test at Jerez in Spain. Kimi Raikkonen set the pace on the opening day and in the end finished up fifth in the combined times, with team-mate Fernando Alonso seventh. In total the Maranello-based outfit did 251 laps – bettered only by Mercedes.
