Schumacher's sedation being reduced

– Michael Schumacher's sedation is being reduced by the doctors treating him to allow "the start of the waking up process" to begin, his manager, Sabine Kehm, confirmed in a statement issued on Thursday. The seven-time Formula 1 World Champion has been in a medically-induced coma since late December, when he suffered a serious head injury in a skiing accident at the Meribel resort, situated in the French Alps. "Michael's sedation is being reduced in order to allow the start of the waking up process which may take long time," said Kehm, who on Wednesday reiterated that speculative media reports should be ignored.
