Gerard Lopez replaces Boullier as Lotus Team Principal
January 24th, 2014 (F1plus/R. Baillie).- Lotus have announced that Gerard Lopez will replace Eric Boullier as Lotus Team Principal with immediate effect. “Lotus F1 Team is pleased to announce that its co-Chairman, Gérard Lopez, will combine his position on the board with the role of Team Principal with immediate effect.” A press release from the Enstone based team said. Lopez will share his chairmanship roles with co-chairman Andy Ruhan. “Lotus F1 Team has never stood still and we head into what promises to be an exciting 2014 season with an innovative new car, new partners and a new management structure at Enstone.” Lopez said.
