Kaltenborn: Van der Garde has the right attitude
– Sauber team boss Monisha Kaltenborn says new test and reserve driver Giedo van der Garde has "the right attitude" to continue his personal development throughout the 2014 Formula 1 campaign. Although van der Garde has lost his full-time seat, following Caterham's decision to change both drivers, he will take part in various Friday practice sessions and tests this year, with a view to returning to the grid in 2015. "We are happy to have Giedo van der Garde on board," said Kaltenborn. "He has four years of experience in GP2 and he drove one year in Formula 1.
