Frijns tipped for 'long F1 career'
The new manager of Robin Frijns has tipped the Dutch racer to make his mark in F1 and enjoy a 'long and successful career' in the sport.Frijns previously held the role of test driver with Sauber before bring dropped mid-way through the 2013 season, with the team electing not to take up the option it had on his services for 2014.Despite that, the former Formula Renault 3.5 champion remains focused on trying to secure a role for the year ahead, and signed a new management deal last week with Timo Gans, who insisted his new client has the skills required to make it to the top.“I totally think so," he told GPUpdat when asked if the 22-year-old has what it takes.
