Marussia aim for Jerez
Graeme Lowdon has confirmed Marussia are on course to debut their 2014 car at the first test in Jerez at the end of January.A major revamp of the rules this season has meant teams are facing an even bigger development challenge than in previous seasons and Lotus have already revealed they will miss the four days of running in southern Spain to carry out further work on the E22 at their Enstone factory.
However, despite having one of the smallest budgets and staff on the grid, Lowdon says Marussia plan to run in Jerez.
"Yeah, I hope so," the Sporting Director told Sky Sports Online when asked if the car would be ready for the first test.
