Rosberg to drive for Mercedes in Bahrain test

Mercedes AMG Petronas has confirmed its line-up for the up-coming Bahrain tyre test, organised by F1′s sole tyre supplier Pirelli. The Brackley-based squad announced on Monday that Nico Rosberg will be at the wheel of their 2013 challenger at the Bahrain International Circuit for all three days; with Lewis Hamilton busy completing high-altitude winter training. It will get underway on Tuesday with four teams running: Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso. 2013 cars will be used, after the FIA announced a change in this season's Sporting Regulations to allow the track-time, to test the 2014-spec tyres but the schedules will be dictated by Pirelli.
