Alonso samples 2014 car
Fernando Alonso got his first taste of Ferrari's 2014 car on Friday when he drove it on their simulator in Maranello.With major rule changes being introduced next season, the Scuderia were keen to get the Spaniard at the wheel as soon as possible so that he could sample "all the new procedures in which the driver will be involved in managing the 2014 car."
Following the season ending Brazilian Grand Prix, Alonso admitted he would be working right up until Christmas in an effort to topple Red Bull's supremacy and he was satisfied with how the simulator session went.
