FIA award for Kubica
Former F1 star Robert Kubica was named 'Personality of the Year' at the FIA Awards on Friday.The Pole, who was forced to quit F1 following a near-fatal rallying crash ahead of the 2011 season, has just completed his inaugural season in WRC2, winning the title at the first attempt.However, other than the WRC2 title the popular Pole also picked up the inaugural 'Personality of the Year' award, one of several new initiatives from the sport's governing body this year.From a shortlist that included Sebastian Vettel and WRC champion Sebastien Ogier, a vote by permanently accredited media saw Kubica walk away with the award.Another new initiative saw Ogier and his co-driver Julien Ingrassia win...
