McLaren: Magnussen represents the future

– McLaren Sporting Director Sam Michael says Kevin Magnussen "represents the future" for the Woking-based outfit, as the Dane's preparations ramp up for his rookie Formula 1 season. Magnussen, 21, was given the nod over Sergio Pérez after impressively clinching this year's Formula Renault 3.5 title, and Michael reckons his promotion has benefited the team as a whole.
