Force India waiting on Lotus decision

Force India is waiting for rivals Lotus to make a decision on their 2014 line-up before concluding their driver signings for next season. Lotus is still trying to finalise its investment deal with Quantum Motorsports to secure the team's finances for 2014. Nico Hulkenberg is thought to be one of the lead contenders for the seat at the Enstone-based outfit but he could miss out on the seat to Pastor Maldonado, who comes with more financial backing. Hulkenberg is still in contention for the drive at Force India, as is Sergio Perez who was recently dropped by McLaren, but the team hasn't ruled out maintaining its current line-up of Paul di Resta and Adrian Sutil.
