Ferrari confident of title challenge
Ferrari Team Principle Stefano Domenicali is confident that the Maranello outfit will have a championship-winning car to call on next year. Domenicali's team struggled for pace for large parts of the 2013 season and failed to win a race after Fernando Alonso's triumph at the Spanish Grand Prix in May.
While Alonso finished as the runner-up in the Drivers' Championship behind Sebastian Vettel for the third time in four years, Ferrari finished third in the Constructors' Championship, six points behind Mercedes.
Nevertheless, Domenicali is of the opinion that the positives from the season outweighs the negatives and that Ferrari were actually better than their critics suggest.
