F1 2013 – Hulkenberg turns down chance to replace Raikkonen
Nico Hulkenberg has reportedly turned down the chance to replace surgery bound Kimi Raikkonen for the final 2 grands prix of the 2013 Formula One season.Hulkenberg is set to join the team full time for the 2014 Formula One season if the deal with Quantum group goes ahead, should it not, it is thought Pastor Maldonado will take his PDVSA backing to the team.Hulkenberg’s manager Werner Heinz said “We had an offer from Lotus and we discussed it. We decided that Nico [Hulkenberg] will do the last two races with Sauber.”
