Salo: Kovalainen perfect for Lotus
Former F1 racer Mika Salo has said he feels fellow Finn Heikki Kovalainen would be the ideal replacement for Kimi Raikkonen for the final two rounds of the 2013 F1 season.Lotus is set to name a replacement for the 2007 champion imminently after he was ruled out of the races in American and Brazil in order to undergo surgery on his back.Test driver Davide Valsecchi is widely expected to get the nod to partner Romain Grosjean at the Circuit of the Americas and at Interlagos, but Salo said he felt Kovalainen – himself a former driver for the Enstone-based team – would be the perfect choice."I have thought about this for a while, and I think getting Heikki would be a smart idea,” he...
