Hulkenberg unlikely to replace Raikkonen for final two races
Nico Hulkenberg is unlikely to move to Lotus for the final two rounds of the 2013 Formula One season as a replacement for Kimi Raikkonen, his manager has confirmed.
Hulkenberg is in the running for a full-time seat with the team in 2014 after Raikkonen's decision to move to Ferrari following a public dispute with Lotus over payment. However, the team is now waiting on fresh investment from a group known as Quantum Motorsports that would see the finance become available to pay the Finn the money he is owed as well as bring in Hulkenberg as a replacement. Should the finance fail to materialise though, Pastor Maldonado is thought to be the alternative choice.
