Kvyat takes GP3 title in Abu Dhabi
This weekend saw another driver take the GP3 series Championship, as 19-year-old Russian ace, Daniil Kvyat, won the 2013 title at the penultimate race of the year at the Abu Dhabi season finale. The Toro Rosso-bound driver rounds off a great season which has shown the youngster's adaptability, as he has competed in both GP3 and the FIA Formula 3 European Championship.
He will be the first driver since Williams' Valterri Bottas to have made the jump directly from GP3 to Formula One, and the steep learning curve gets into full effect for the Rome-based driver, who will gets his first running in a FP1 session at the Circuit of the Americas and then the Formula One season finale at...
