Herbert: Brawn to McLaren makes sense
Johnny Herbert believes Ross Brawn could end up at McLaren if he opts to leave Mercedes, as has been speculated. Brawn has been linked to Williams, McLaren and a role with the FIA should he quit Brackley, but Herbert reckons McLaren could be a natural fit, given Honda will return to F1 with the Woking-based outfit in 2015, and given Brawn, of course, ran the Honda F1 team, until the Japanese manufacturer quit the sport at the end of 2008. “Potentially I think there is a better chance of success coming [at McLaren], when Honda comes,” Herbert told Sky Sports News F1, “and then you have the relationship that he [Brawn] had when he was at Honda, and then it went to Brawn GP. “But of...
