Charles Pic endured a difficult day in India as he was forced to retire from the race.
Pic had to retire courtesy of a hydraulic problem and also sustained damage early in the race.
'After the start and coming out of turn one I was ahead of [Max] Chilton and my teammate. Giedo [van der Garde] didn’t have anywhere to go and made contact with my right rear tyre and it punctured which meant I had to come in immediately for a stop,' said Pic.
