McLaren aren't neglecting '14 despite '15 focus
McLaren insist they are not neglecting next season despite a certain focus on 2015 which will see various technical changes and the return of Honda as its engine supplier. The Woking squad have endured a difficult season which has seen them fail to secure a podium as well as losing several key members of its technical staff to rivals. In response, team principal Martin Whitmarsh has been on a recruitment drive. As of yet, only one of the rumoured 'several' new engineers have been announced. Many of these changes won't happen until 2015, but managing director Jonathan Neale insists things are happening which will strengthen McLaren for 2014 too.
