Charles Pic will have to take his penalty in the first five laps of the race Sutton Images Enlarge Related Links Race: Japanese Grand Prix Charles Pic has been handed a drive-through penalty for tomorrow's Japanese Grand Prix after ignoring a red light during qualifying. The pit lane was closed when the brakes on Jean-Eric Vergne's Toro Rosso caught fire during Q1, causing a red flag out on track. However, Pic passed the red light at the end of the pit lane five seconds after it was closed, and as a result was called before the stewards. Having been reprimanded for ignoring a red light calling him to the weighbridge in Korea - which ultimately led to him receiving a 10-place grid penalty...
