Bianchi to miss second practice after big crash in FP1 11 October, 2013 Jules Bianchi after crashing out at second Degner Marussia's French rookie Jules Bianchi was ruled out of Friday's second practice at the Japanese Grand Prix after crashing his car heavily in the morning session at Suzuka.
On the half hour mark Bianchi's Marussia plowed into the barriers at the second Degner complex at high speed. The front left of the car was ripped from the chassis in the process.
Bianchi said afterwards, 'My chassis is damaged too much which is why we're not running. It's a shame, but these things happen in racing. My elbow got stuck between he chassis and the seat so when I had the oversteer...
