Hulkenberg gets fresh hope over Lotus seat

Nico Hulkenberg has been given a boost to his chances of earning a drive with Lotus for the 2014 F1 season after the team insisted that weight wouldn't be an issue when it comes to completing its driver line-up.The German is one of the heaviest drivers on the grid going into a season where changes in regulations are set to work in favour of the lighter racers on the grid – with struggles to meet the new weight limits in place believed to have ruled Hulkenberg out of the running for a drive with McLaren.Hulkenberg's issue has arisen because of the fact that, despite the minimum weight limits being increased next year, the new 1.6 litre turbo-powered engines being introduced into the sport...
