Singapore preview - Mercedes ready to fight back
Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso are pinning their world championship hopes on strong enough performances to beat Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull in this weekend’s 2013 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix, one of the longest and toughest races on the F1 calendar. They are the only three drivers to have won under the floodlights of the demanding Marina Bay Street Circuit, but Hamilton arrives trailing Vettel by 81 points, while Alonso is 53 points behind the reigning champion.
