Formula E car revealed in Frankfurt
The car that will be used for the inaugural Formula E season has been revealed during the Frankfurt Motor Show.Series CEO Alejandro Agag and FIA president Jean Todt pulled the covers off the Spark-Renault SRT_01E on the opening day of the event, with the all-electric single-seater set to compete on a series of city circuits when the first year of competition starts next year.The chassis of the new car has been built up by Dallara, while the powertrain has been provided by McLaren Electronic Systems.
