Maldonado hoping for points at Monza
MONZA, September 6th, 2013 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Williams driver Pastor Maldonado feels Monza provides the team with an opportunity to pick up points and close the gap to Sauber in the Constructors' Championship. "I think it’s possible. Even in 2012 the car was not so great for us and I finished 11th and started from 22[nd]. This year maybe it’s going to be a bit more difficult but it’s possible,” Maldonado said. Monza is a low downforce circuit with long straights, something he believes will suit the FW35, “We had a disappointing result at the Belgian Grand Prix, but our car has good straight line speed [and] so should be suited to this track.”.
