Sirotkin set for tests in 2011 Sauber
Sergey Sirotkin says he will test Sauber's 2011-specification C30 chassis later this month as part of plans to prepare him for a race seat with the team next season. The 18-year-old Russian, currently competing in Formula Renault 3.5, is expected to make the step up to the top echelon with Sauber – following a tripartite deal with investors from his country – should he gain the superlicence required to compete. Soon after his tests in the two-year-old car, the amount of which has not been confirmed by the Sauber team, he will complete a demo run at the Sochi circuit.
