Williams believes Symonds will deliver
Claire Williams is confident Pat Symonds will have an "immediate impact" when he joins Williams after the summer break.
This year's Championship has been arguably Williams' worst in Formula One as the team netted just one point in the opening ten grands prix.
That point, though, could not have come at a better time as Pastor Maldonado scored just before Williams and their rivals shut down for the summer break.
With a bit of renewed confidence, Williams believes the next step in the team's progress will involve Symonds who is joining as technical director from Marussia.
