We didn't put a foot wrong, says Button

McLaren driver Jenson Button said his team "didn't put a foot wrong" throughout the German Grand Prix weekend, with the 2009 World Champion capitalising on a top ten grid slot to claim a season-best sixth place finish on Sunday afternoon. Having started from ninth on the grid, Button gradually rose through the field to fifth, a position he held until the final lap of the race when recovering Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton surged by after struggling with tyre degradation in the early stages. "There are a lot of positives to take away from this weekend; our pace was reasonably good; it’s nice to be racing cars closer to the front, such as the Mercedes," Button explained...
