Almost double podium confirms Mercedes progress

Nico Rosberg won an eventful British Grand Prix with Lewis Hamilton finishing in fourth place after a battling drive. Hamilton initially led the race until a tyre failure forced him to make an additional stop, battling back up to 4th at the finish. With this afternoon's result, the team had climbed to second place in the Constructors' Championship on 171 points.
