Toro Rosso Drivers Shine On Friday At Silverstone

Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne were both pleased with their day’s work after impressing on Friday at Silverstone. Following Mark Webber’s retirement, the two Toro Rosso teammates are under the microscope and they finished the opening day of the British Grand Prix sixth and seventh respectively after the dry second session. Ricciardo had earlier finished fastest of all in the wet FP1 and the Australian was reasonably happy with his car in both conditions. “I decided to do quite a few laps in the rain this morning, as I felt the track was safe enough and you can always learn something in those tricky conditions and I think it pleased the fans as well!
