Final practice delayed by crash damage

The third and final practice session for the Canadian Grand Prix is on hold while track workers fix barriers damaged in a previous session.The armco at turn eleven - an unusual place for such a heavy impact - was badly realigned during a practice session for a Ferrari support race, leaving the marshals with a race against time to ensure that there is any F1 running before qualifying.The stewards have already confirmed that, faced with the alternative of delaying the grid-setting session, final practice would still end at the appointed time, meaning that every minute taken to effect repairs to the barriers would be a minute less running for the teams and drivers before qualifying.After the...
