Rosberg stays on top in second practice

Nico Rosberg continued his fine form by setting the fastest time during second practice for the Monaco Grand Prix. The German had set the quickest time in first practice and he followed that up with a 1:14.759. Lewis Hamilton made it a Mercedes 1-2, setting a time three tenths slower than Rosberg. Ferrari also demonstrated strong pace. Both Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa were committed as they finished in third and fourth place. Alonso was caught out by the Sauber of Nico Hulkenberg on his quick run and narrowly missed the barrier at Rascasse. The Spaniard also brushed the wall at the final corner.
