Räikkönen enjoys strong start in China

Kimi Räikkönen enjoyed a positive start to his Chinese Grand Prix weekend on Friday, with the Lotus driver setting the second fastest time behind Ferrari rival and former team-mate Felipe Massa in this afternoon's second free practice session. The Finn, who completed 48 trouble-free laps of the Shanghai venue, focused on trialling new rear floor aero components which have been declared as a success. "If you look at the lap time it looks to have been a pretty OK day," said Räikkönen, who claimed victory at Shanghai in 2007.
