Without Hamilton, McLaren have got 'one and a half drivers'

One possible reason why McLaren is struggling this season is because it is missing the services of Lewis Hamilton, according to former Formula 1 driver John Watson. Mercedes has gained from the 2008 world champion admitting that its start to the current campaign has been better than it expected with the British driver claiming a podium finish in only his second race with the team in Malaysia. Meanwhile McLaren, who had Button developing the MP4-28 in the latter half of 2012, has scored just four points – against Mercedes’ 37 – along with new recruit Sergio Perez.
