Grosjean puts Lotus on top in testing
Romain Grosjean impressed in his Lotus on the third-to-last day of testing for the new Formula 1 season, edging out Jenson Button of McLaren for the quickest lap on Friday. After the threat of another day of rain and a wet track faded, drivers were able to put in good runs before a late shower dampened the Catalunya Circuit as they made their final adjustments for the first race of the year. Button's flying lap before the lunch break held until Grosjean bettered him by almost half a second with a pacesetting effort of 1 minute, 22.716 seconds.
