Chilton pleased with Marussia mileage
Max Chilton declared himself pleased with Marussia's lap total on day one of the final test in Barcelona. Completing his fifth consecutive day in the MR02 as speculation over Luiz Razia's future with the team rumbles on, Chilton set the ninth-fastest time as he completed 78 laps. Though it was the fourth-lowest total of the day, it was actually the most laps Marussia has managed in one day of testing so far this year and Chilton said it had been a positive start to the test. "It was a little brisk this morning in the car but it was a really good day for us as a team," Chilton said. "We did 78 laps which is the most we've done in this pre-season testing.
