Renault not sidetracked by 2014 engines

Renault insists they are committed to delivering their best this season despite having to pump a lot of their resources into next year's engines. The French engine manufacturer are supplying V8s to Lotus, Red Bull, Williams and Caterham this campaign, but with Formula One switching to turbocharged 1.6L V6 engines next year a lot of effort has gone into building units for 2014. This has left a lot of manufacturers in the unenviable position of having to do double the work ahead of the changeover.
