Toro Rosso chasing sixth in STR8
On the eve of pre-season testing at Jerez, Toro Rosso have unwrapped their STR8 at the Spanish circuit.
Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne were on hand for the unveiling, taking the covers off the new car, which features a vanity panel covering the stepped-nose.
The STR8 retains the undercut sidepods of its predecessors while including a McLaren-style exhaust.
The new car is the first Toro Rosso to receive input from technical director James Keyw, who joined the team from Sauber last season.
Last season Toro Rosso finished ninth it was a disappointing campaign. This year team boss Franz Tost wants a marked improvement.
