Ecclestone ponders German options

Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone will consider changing the name of the German Grand Prix in an attempt to end doubts about this year's race. Financial problems may necessitate the race - scheduled for the Nurburgring on 7 July - being switched to Hockenheim. Summer break? If the German Grand Prix does not take place, there could be just one grand prix in eight weeks during the summer as the Turkish Grand Prix, scheduled for 21 July is not taking place. The issue is complicated by different associations owning the two tracks.
