Russian GP track on schedule

The new Sochi track that will play host to the Russian Grand Prix in 2014 is firmly on target, according to organisers. The race control complex is said to be in the final stages of construction as it prepares to host its first ever Formula 1 grand prix. The circuit is being built within the larger complex that will be used for the Winter Olympics in the same year. While the the race control building was nearing completion, "exterior and interior works and installation works" on the pit complex are set to get underway next spring.
