De Villota undergoes penultimate surgery
Maria de Villota has successfully undergone a seven-hour operation in a Madrid hospital following her Marussia test accident earlier this year. The surgery is believed to be her penultimate, with the final "a smaller operation" which will go ahead in the next few months, her doctor confirmed. The Spanish driver was named 'Driver of the Year' by Car & Driver
